2017 marked the 5th year East Church partnered with East Milton's The Friends of Crane Field to mount a Block Party to celebrate and support the community in which East Church is located. At least 31 East Church people were involved, either on the day-of or in advance. That's amazing! East Church thanks the following local merchants who supported this community building event with donations of delicious food: The Milton Marketplace Fruit Center, Abby Park/Novara Restaurants, The Plate, and the Quincy Stop&Shop. Thanks also to Scott Love and the Milton Art Center for a very popular craft table, the Town of Milton's Parks Department for picnic tables and trash barrels, and to the Friends of Crane Field (especially Eddy Duffy and the tireless and indispensable Ken Lewandowski). And finally a big Thank You to several of the scouts and adult leaders who meet at East Church, for help moving tables and chairs from the church to the park and then back again.
