Kindness Rocks! East Church's Christian Ed. team is focussing on kindness for a bit. As part of the unit, the kids are painting small rocks with colorful, buoyant messages which they intend to distribute in random places to bring some joy to whoever encounters a stone. The September All Age Worship Experience (AWE) service called attention to this, and there was a DIY work station in Coffee Hour to allow the older people to add to the collection.
