East Church welcomed Rick Doane, Executive Director of Quincy-based Interfaith Social Services, on Sunday, May 21. Rick shared a powerful message with us, covering Charity as a verb, non-profit organizations as distint from "charities," the ISS's work in specific, and volunteerism in general. After worship, Rick graciously took a moment to pose with Beth Quigley, co-Chair of East Church's Benevolence Committee. The Benevolence Committee was instrumental in arranging Rick's visit to East Church.
