East Church's Adams Street lawn became an installation site for the Milton Art Center, one of fourteen sites throughout Milton until July 1. Fifth grade girls in Junior Girl Scout Troop #75390 worked with artist Marjorie Saintil-Belizaire to create an Asian Elephant sculpture using wire, cardboard, plaster, and recycled toys and household objects. The informational plaque posted near the vibrant purple sculpture tells us "We hope that this majestic sculpture will serve as a reminder to those in our community to always exercise patience, be strong, show loyalty and seek wisdom."
