East Church's 4th Holiday Book Fair. New books from publisher Barefoot Books, Story Time, and Crafts. Each child attending received a goodie bag!

Pastor Shelly wrote the following in our weekly newsletter: "I still remember how excited we are were last year when we shared the good news that 150 children (twice as many as the 75 from our first year) received one brand new book as they Trick-or-Treated for Books at East Church. Last Saturday, October 28, 2017, as our local East Milton Merchants hosted their annual Halloween Stroll and offered candy and sweet treats, our Reading Changes Lives team offered books once again - this time to 312 children! Over 20 East Church volunteers donated books or money to purchase books, helped set up, inflated balloons, greeted visitors, identified just the right book, shared news and flyers of our upcoming events, and cleaned up. The weather was glorious and we recognized a number of children and parents from last year and many extremely delighted first-timers too."
