East Church's active and vital Literacy Initiative. Because reading DOES change lives.

East Church is situated in a neighborhood and we don't take that for granted. Every year since 2013 East Church has organized a block party for the neighborhood. This is building and serving community in action! We were blessed to have the Full Turn Band providing buoyant, upbeat music once again, as well as members of the Emmaus Church congregation. Thank you for all the support we received from neighbors and congregants. We estimated 250 attendees enjoyed the event.
