It used to be customary to end a Church Council meeting by holding hands in a circle and joining our hearts in a closing prayer. That’s not so easy to do when we’re “together” in our separate homes, peering into our respective screens. At the end of the April Church Council meeting, Pastor Shelly asked us to raise our hands and point them palm-out to one another as she prayed. Another case of not-the-same being pretty darn powerful anyway.
